10 Tips for a Successful Tarot Reading

The more you read, the better you get. But this is something you can figure by yourself, no need to tell you. So…

1. Never let a classic meaning of a card dominate your intuition when you first saw the card in that reading. Even if it’s the opposite!

2. What if you feel like a card has not the classic interpretation in the reading but at the same time your intuition isn’t helping you either? Draw an extra clarifying card.

3. Change the question if you come to the conclusion that it’s not so useful. Sometimes we are our own enemies for we don’t really know what we want to know…

4. Don’t use anyone’s system when learning cards. Read as many writers as possible and choose the right style for you or even a combination of styles. For many beginners, the one card/day during 78 days is simply boring and kills all the beauty of Tarot. You can read from the first day if you want. In fact you can do everything you want! Forget about rules! Open your mind, your heart, your spirit and voila…you’re a winner!

5. Choose the right spread for your question but don’t hesitate to invent one especially for your solution. I, myself , find this the most beautiful part in Tarot. Creation!

6. Don’t read for others if you don’t feel like reading for them or at that moment. Just tell them you can’t. This is not just entertainment purpose only as we are forced to say and you don’t have to justify yourself.

7. Always take in account the fact that you may be wrong. And if you’re wrong for you, let’s say it is ok. But what about the others you read for? Never ensure someone of your prediction or 100% accuracy. This is scam and unprofessional, just comercial. The future is fluid and time frames are more than approximate too, every reader knows that. Don’t think you are less good if you admit that you can’t “read”a situation. It happens to all professional readers. Some admit, some don’t.
